WRS -- Biological Abstracts

This week's spotlight is on Biological Abstracts. BA indexes more than 4000 biological science journals internationally, some of which are covered all the way back to 1969. It is hosted on the EBSCO platform, whose advanced search allows up to three keywords in up to 30 fields, combinable by Boolean operators, as well as the ability to refine your search based on publication date range, language, document type, and many other life-sciences-specific limiters such as disease affiliation, developmental stage, and organ system.

BA indexes records from all areas of life sciences, including medicine, botany, microbiology, agriculture/aquaculture, animal behavior, and many others. It is an excellent first step for searching any topic in the life sciences.
