WRS -- DOE Information Bridge

This week's resource spotlight is on DOE Information Bridge. This resource from the US Department of Energy allows you to search research literature submitted to the DOE by any of its branches or contractors. These technical reports contain a wealth of information on topics in a variety of fields. The reports are not peer-reviewed and tend to contain more jargon and technical terminology than most journal articles, but are the best resource for detailed and specific information on a particular project.

DOE Information Bridge's advanced search allows you to search in any combination of multiple fields, including author, title, keyword, research organization, sponsor organization, conference information, and identifier number. You can also limit your search to a particular publication date range or to a specific type of report (conference proceedings, software manual, technical report, patent application, etc).

The search returns full bibliographic information, including multiple identifier numbers, and full text in .PDF format.
